About

David’s music career began before he started junior high school, playing as a drummer for multiple church and local bands and groups. His love for music continued into high school and by graduation, he was well-versed in live music production, recording, and mixing, with a specialization in drums. After a mild hiatus to enlist in the US Army, David opened and operates Red Chip Studio in Fraser, MI, where he has records and produces a variety of artist, using variety of analog and digital recording equipment to achieve a wide open, punchy feel to the music.

David has trained alongside Al Sutton (owner of Rustbelt Studios and ACME Audio Produced for Kid Rock, Greta Van Fleet, The Sights, and Dead String Brothers, Dirty Honey, Mac Saturn).
